I was born in New Rochelle, New York. My dad got a job overseas so we lived in Brussels, Belgium. and Surrey, England and back to Brussels between 1961 and 1969. I began to learn to play the guitar that my Dad brought me back from a business trip. This would be Brussels 1967, I began lessons at 8. My Dad’s work brought us back to the states to Northern Indiana, so we moved to South Bend, Indiana in 1969. I won a clock radio for selling something for Boy Scouts and listened to that thing every day and night(WLS,WCFL Chicago) I began to write songs.I began high school in Indiana, my parents split up. I then spent 2.5 years of boarding school in Sewanee Tennessee where I first heard Neil Young’s music, and bluegrass- both amazing. Went back to Indiana to graduate(reasons of expulsion) then moved to Atlanta where I worked a variety of jobs (warehouse stocker, flower salesman in street, waiter, ice cream man) Up to this point I mostly played and sang to my self. But in Atlanta I fell in with artists and musicians, played experimental music, and after losing a two dimensional passion for the restaurant business decided to be an artist, bought a 4 track and began writing and recording profusely. I got the opportunity to go to music school beginning in the summer of 1983,(1983-1987-Boston; music student, Berklee college of music, waiter) I had plans for NYC but at the invitation of two friends went to sing in Chicago in the summer of 1987, I fell in love with that city. (In Chicago I was a street musician, club musician, and radio jingle producer)1990 went to visit my friend Riccardo in Quito Ecuador for six weeks, and stayed 8 months( Ecuador : band leader/singer-Chris y Las Iguanas) Richard Maranon, the lead guitarist for The Iguanas was from L.A. and talked me into moving, so from 1991-1993 I was in Los Angeles, Ca. as a waiter, caterer, recording artist ,and musician. Then I signed a co-publishing, management contract with Shockwave Productions. I got lost in L.A., or realized I was. The people backing me started making a film and didn’t seem to be backing me anymore so I moved my bedroom into my van and headed for the Arizona desert, I heard a voice one night that sent me to the Great North West. 1994-Eugene, Oregon.(drifter, bar bouncer, musician, waiter)1995-2001-Seattle, Wa.(Pike Place Market musician, I opened poetry slams for my old friend Paul Grajnert of Chicago poetry fame, played at the grunge famous O.K. hotel, was cleaning toilets at the green tortoise hostel and living in my van. After feeling like Life had led me within inches of being a successful musician there I was down in the street again, and playing in the market, At Pike Place I would play in front of the original Starbucks, or at ‘The Bridge’ ...and that’s where it was that Jesus found me. I travelled to Toronto with a friend and that’s where my life would change, I accepted Christ at the Airport Vineyard Church in Toronto, and..... for the first time since I was a little kid I felt like I had a big dad who loved me. Knowing God was what I had wanted without knowing it. I found my way back to Seattle, worked construction, tended to disabled kids, hung out with street people, alcoholics, junkies, and I began to write a different kind of song. One that might help someone who was looking find a way to what I had found. (I sing about these times in the songs- IN YOU and GOD LOVES THE WORLD)After some amazing years with my great friends at the Vineyard church in the U district of Seattle I felt that I was being called back to the midwest, to Indiana. But I resisted. It was the World Trade Center bombings of September 11th, 2001 happened and two weeks later I decided to return... to be around my nephews and family.(....... the song- HOLE UP IN THE SKY)

So from late 2001-present I’ve made my home base South Bend, Indiana. I play mostly around South bend and Chicago, but travel as far as Brazil and Germany to play

Wether I’m playing a concert of my own songs, or a show including cover songs in a restaurant, or a worship set, or am singing through the car speakers, or in a film soundtrack, I hope you find that my heart is in my work,
