Fitz & The Celts
Fitz & The Celts
Fitz & the Celts
Fitz & the Celts has been a staple of the Irish music scene in Chicago for over 15 years. Combining traditional Irish songs and tunes, as well as rocked up covers from artists such as The Pogues, Hothouse Flowers and the Waterboys, the band delivers Irish music with a punch.
The band has performed regularly at the top Midwest festivals including the Chicago Irish Fest, Milwaukee Irish Fest and Irish American Heritage Center Irish Fest. They have also been a regular house band at some of the city’s premier Irish music clubs, most notably The Abbey Pub on the city’s northwest side.
Several members of the band have toured with the Trinity Irish Dancers and with recording artists such as Michael McDermott.
The Great Whiskey Project
The Great Whiskey Project
The Great Whiskey Project formed in 2010 when a soulful singer/songwriter and an explosive Irish fiddler teamed up with other Chicago musicians to fuse foot-stomping rythms with poignant melodies. The result is a contagious new sound that will make you want to stay for another drink.

The Great Whiskey Project loves to play great songs. They are less concerned about the genre that those songs fall into. They will play traditional Irish music, Johnny Cash, Gnarls Barkley, Elvis and The White Stripes in the same set. It all works together. They are most proud of their dozens of original songs. They are constantly writing.
Cul an Ti
Cul an Ti
Cul an Ti (Irish for 'the back of the house')
Cul an Ti is a powerhouse of Irish music that plays authentic traditional Irish music along with a dizzying range of Irish folk songs, pub songs, rebel songs and modern Irish rock. The band has its own particular style of groove oriented and highly energized Irish music.
O'hare School Of Irish Dance
Traditional Irish Dance since 1979. O’Hare students have won Midwest, National, All Ireland, and World Championships. They have also gone on to dance in Riverdance, as well as Lord Of The Dance Productions. The O’Hare School of Irish Dance now boasts more World Championship titles in solo dance than any other school in the United States.
CFD Pipes and Drums
CFD Pipes and Drums
Organized in May of 2007.

The Chicago Fire Department Pipes & Drums was established with three virtues in mind. Pride, honor and tradition. This public service band set out to create an organization that upholds the traditions of the Fire Service and aims for the high performance standard of a world class Pipe & Drum Band.

The CFD P&D is comprised of members of the Chicago Fire Department and their immediate family. Every decision the band makes is done while keeping in mind our core values. Put the focus on the band and the department we represent first.

Band members realize that involvement in the band is an extension of their calling in the fire service. For our civilian members, it is often a way to honor a loved one and give back the CFD family that has been there since they were born.

Since the very beginning, the band has received strong support from the Chicago Fire Department and the Chicago Fire Fighters Union Local 2.
